Cultivating the traditional way

We make no secret of the fact that we are keen to exploit that latest in technology if it will improve the quality of our wines. Our next door neighbour in Umbria proves that the old technology and practices handed down the years still makes for great wine. Mrs Saroni is pictured here tying the vines with tree saplings.  No modern plastic ties used here and amazingly effective.
