Nodo means 'knot' and these grapes are inextricably tied to their Umbrian origins.
This wine is made from 100% Umbrian Sangiovese IGT, cultivated in the rich clay soils of the heartland of Colli del Trasimeno and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. It is matured for 24 months in used french oak barrels. The wine is ruby garnet in colour with strong notes of bitter cherries and violets and a lingering savoury finish. It is well structured and balanced with good acidity and dry grippy tannins.
