Nesso means 'link' and these grapes are strongly linked to their Umbrian origins.
This wine is made from 100% Umbrian Sangiovese IGT, cultivated in the rich soils of the heartland of Colli del Trasimeno and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. It is matured for 24 months in a mixture of new and old french oak barrels.
The result is a terroir driven wine with alluring aromas of red and black cherries, liquorice with a gentle herbal like finish. The wine is complex with a chewy tannic backbone and vibrant acidity resulting in a lingering fresh finish.
